# Terms of Service

Last updated: April 19, 2026

By visiting **vibecodersguidetomvp.help** ("the Site") or downloading any
materials from it, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please don't use the Site.
Plain English; we aren't trying to trick you.

## What the Site is

The Site is a free guide and a free code template for people building minimum viable
products ("MVPs") with AI coding agents. It points you at two public GitHub repositories
that you can clone and modify freely under the MIT license.

## Educational purpose; no professional advice

The Site offers general educational content. It is not legal, financial, security, or
professional advice. Before making decisions that could have significant legal, financial,
or security consequences — for example, how to structure an LLC, whether a given data
practice complies with GDPR, or whether to take outside investment — consult a
qualified professional who knows your specific situation.

## The downloads are provided "as is"

The code, text, and other materials available through the Site or the linked repositories
are provided **"as is" and without warranty of any kind**, express or
implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use them at your own risk. We don't promise
the code is free of bugs, that the advice will produce any particular outcome, or that
third-party services mentioned will behave the way we describe.

## Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Site, its operator, or its
contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption —
arising out of or related to your use of the Site, the downloads, or the linked materials,
even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total aggregate liability for any
direct damages shall not exceed **$100 USD**.

## Third-party services

The guide recommends third-party services — Vercel, OpenAI, Stripe, Resend, GoDaddy,
GitHub, AWS, and others. We aren't affiliated with or controlling any of them. When you
sign up for or use those services, you are bound by their terms and privacy policies, not
ours. We receive no kickbacks or referral fees from these services unless explicitly
        disclosed.

## Trademarks and logos

The Site references product names such as "Claude Code" (Anthropic) and "Codex" (OpenAI)
descriptively, so users know which tool we're talking about. All trademarks, service marks,
and logos are the property of their respective owners. No endorsement or affiliation is
implied. If you're a trademark owner and want a reference removed, email
        [privacy@vibecodersguidetomvp.help](mailto:privacy@vibecodersguidetomvp.help)
        and we'll do so.

## Intellectual property

Original written content on the Site — the guide text, the carousel copy — is
copyright Vibe Coder's Guide to MVP. You may share short excerpts with attribution. The
code in the linked repositories is released under the **MIT License**; see
the `LICENSE` file in each repo.

## Acceptable use

Don't try to break the Site: no automated scraping at a rate that degrades service, no
probing for security vulnerabilities without permission, no use of the Site to harass
anyone. If you find a bug or security issue, please email us.

## Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be noted on the Site
for at least 30 days. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new
        Terms.

## Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the **State of Oregon, USA**, without
regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Site
shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County,
Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

## Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full force and effect.
